From the "Lost I LOVE LUCY Pilot Episode":

The scene here is that the-crazy-over-show-business Lucy, is taking the place of Pepito the clown, to perform at Ricky's club. But Ricky doesn't know this of course. He's feeling dumpy later when he realises Lucy's got the contract and not him. Ricky's reason for not letting Lucy into show business? She must cook and clean and hand him his pipe and be good and act like every other wife does.

AT THE CLUB:
"Haw,.....I'm lookin' fer Mr Risky Riskerdo. You know Mr Risky Riskerdo??..." (Looks around, asks around)
Ricky, hearing this says, "Yes, I'm Ricky Ricardo."
Lucy turns around at hearing his voice and shakes his hand, saying, "Nice ta meet yer! But...yer not Risky Riskerdo. I'm looking fer Mr Risky Riskerdo!"
Ricky, finally realising it's Lucy, slaps his hand to his forehead. Aiyaiyaiyaiyai.

LATER AT HOME:
Ricky comes home, moping about, refusing to talk to Lucy because SHE got a contract, and not him. So Lucy asks him, "Honey, what's the matter?" Ricky answers, "You know whats the matter."
"But what can I do if they offered me the contract and not you? What do you want me to do about it?"
" You know what I want you to do about it. I want you to be like every other wife... like handing me my pipe! Cook! Clean!"
" Oh, that's exactly what I've been doing, I've been cleaning and cleaning and cooking and cooking ever since I came back (from the club)!"
"And Ricky....honey, I've got a surprise for you, something that'll make you very happy. Something you've been waiting for for a very long time."
And Ricky jumps at this, thinking Lucy is trying to tell him she's pregnant and he says, "Really Lucy?? Oh wow. So soon? Me, a..."
Lucy interrupts him at this point and says, " Yep, I cooked your favourite pie!"
Ricky rolls his eyes and leans in to kiss her.
